During its second meeting this year, headed by His Excellency Dr. Saeed bin Mohammed Al-Saqri, Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Council, the Tender Board awarded a number of projects and additional works complementary to development projects in various fields with a total value amounting to 17 million, 565 thousand and 428 Omani riyals.

These projects and tenders, which the Council agreed to award during the meeting, included providing advisory services for the management and supervision of the Oman Cultural Complex project and the National Records and Archives Authority building at a value of 5 million, 271 thousand and 21 Omani riyals, and a project for maintaining dirt roads in North Al Sharqiyah Governorate for a period of (5) years at a value of 4 One million, 332 thousand and 968 Omani riyals, as well as a project to maintain dirt roads in Al Dakhiliyah Governorate for a period of (5) years at a value of 4 million 69 thousand and 525 Omani riyals, and a project to upgrade the museum display of the Land of Frankincense Museum in Dhofar Governorate at a value of 129 thousand and 752 Omani riyals.

The works approved by the Council included a project to design and implement a surface intersection to replace the current roundabout on the “Karsha-Ezz” Road in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, at a value of 313,097 Omani Riyals, and additional works on consulting services for managing the Al-Sharqiya Expressway Duplication Project (first and second phases) at a value of 695 Omani Riyals. One thousand and 920 Omani riyals and additional work on the project to construct the Dhofar Municipality Building in the Wilayat of Salalah in the Dhofar Governorate, at a value of 495,778 Omani Riyals, and additional work on the tender for the preventive maintenance and technical support project for the National Data Center, the National Center for Technical Support, and the Disaster Precautionary Center, at a value of 452,379 Omani Riyals.

The tenders included additional work on the tender for providing technicians to operate and maintain equipment at Sohar Hospital and health institutions in North Al Batinah Governorate, at a value of 423,782 Omani riyals, and additional work on the tender for providing technicians to operate and maintain equipment at Khawla Hospital, at a value of 367,101 Omani riyals. Additional work also included providing consultancy services for the design and supervision of a project of different level intersections on the existing Al Batinah Road, at a value of 215,319 Omani Riyals, and additional work on the tender for providing consultancy services for the design and supervision of the Batinah Expressway Project, Part Three (Phase Five), at a value of 184,479. riyals Omani, and additional work on the tender for the project of designing and constructing internal roads in the Wilayat of Dimma and Al-Tai’in, at a value of 161 thousand and 232 Omani riyals.

It also included additional work on the tender for the project to provide consulting services to supervise the project to design and raise the efficiency of the Saih Qatna Road in the Niyabat of Al Jabal Al Akhdar in the Al Dakhiliyah Governorate, at a value of 115,835 Omani Riyals, and additional work on the project to design and repair damages resulting from weather conditions on the Wadi Bani Khalid Road, at a value of 95,000. And 970 Omani riyals, and additional work on the tender for providing consulting services to the technical assistance device for the General Directorate of Roads and Land Transport at a value of 58 thousand and 209 Omani riyals, and additional work on the tender for providing consulting services for the design and supervision of the project to raise the efficiency of the “Sinaw - Mahut - Duqm” road. With a value of 183 thousand and 60 Omani riyals.​
