The General Secretariat of the Tender Board has continue in governing the management of government projects and contracts by launching local content elements in the Esnad system, making them an essential requirement for project implementation. This initiative aims to enhance local content in the Omani economy and prioritize its necessary growth and development to enable it to compete with foreign products and companies.

This move aligns with the national priorities of Oman Vision 2040, which seeks to diversify the national economy, create job opportunities for Omanis, support the private sector—especially small and medium enterprises—and contribute to the development of the governorates.

The General Secretariat is also working to launch a range of services within the Esnad system in collaboration with relevant authorities to enhance social responsibility and research and development, in line with national aspirations and the integration of the state's administrative apparatus.
