Additionally, His Excellency the Secretary-General attended the signing ceremony for the construction project of the Al-Mughaysil Bridge in Salalah, with a cost exceeding 9 million Omani Rials. This project is anticipated to improve traffic flow from Salalah to the western governorates of Dhofar.
The project includes the construction of a concrete bridge measuring 630 meters in length, supported by 20 columns and two side piers, each 13 meters high. The bridge features six decorative arches, with the two largest arches reaching a height of 45.9 meters, while the remaining arches stand at 35.9 meters. Additionally, the bridge includes parking areas on both sides of the road and a smooth walkway with lighting, varying in width from 2 to 7 meters.
