The General Secretariat of the Tender Board participates in the "COMEX 2024" exhibition and showcases in its dedicated corner the National System for Managing Government Projects and Procurement (Takamul), which is one of the important national projects under construction. The Takamul system offers 5 main tasks in managing and monitoring government projects, organizing and managing government procurement, registering and managing supplier relationships, managing tendering, and organizing and monitoring contracts.
The Takamul system achieves many objectives, including enhancing the accuracy of data-driven strategic planning, increasing transparency and accountability, and seeking to enhance the efficiency and simplify the processes related to government projects and procurement. It also works on automating all processes related to the procurement and government project lifecycle, developing and improving supplier relationship environment, establishing an effective framework for managing government projects and procurement, as well as enhancing the establishment of a comprehensive and unified database for all government expenditures, and keeping pace with the digital transformation initiative in the government sector.
