The Tender Board awards development projects worth more than 158 million Omani riyals
Today, the Tenders Board awarded a number of additional projects and works complementary to development projects in various fields, with a total value estimated at 158 million, 522,646 Omani riyals and 899 baisas, during its fifth meeting this year, chaired by His Excellency Dr. Saeed bin Muhammad Al-Saqri, Minister of Economy and Chairman of the Tenders Board.
The Council also discussed several topics related to tenders and additional work complementary to development projects.
Establishing the Sultan Qaboos bin Said (may God rest his soul) Corner at the National Museum at a cost of 317,871 Omani Riyals and 481 baisas. The Council also approved a number of change orders and annexes to implemented road projects at an amount of 112 million, 786 thousand and 558 Omani Riyals.
The Council also assigned the additional works of the Al-Sharqiya Expressway Duplication Project (Phase Two - Part Two) to the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology in the amount of 23 million, 94 thousand and 875 Omani Riyals and 250 baisas, and the supply of medicines, vaccines and serums to the Ministry of Health in the amount of 13 million 617 thousand and 738 Omani Riyals and 440 baisas.
The Council assigned a project to supply consumable surgical hospital supplies to the Ministry of Health at an amount of 6 million and 978 thousand and 220 Omani Riyals and 602 baisas, an additional works project to supply and install (5) weather collectors for the Civil Aviation Authority at an amount of one million and 20 thousand Omani Rials, and a project to insure the infrastructure of the Port of Duqm. The existing piers and bridges in the ports of Khasab and Shinas are donated to the Ministry of Finance in the amount of 707 thousand and 383 Omani riyals and 126 baisas.
