Workshop on Value Engineering
The Directorate General of Tenders and the Government Projects Follow-up Office organized a workshop on Value Engineering, which was attended by the project team of the City Walk promenade (City Walk) from the South Batinah Governorate Office, including the project's consultant and designer.
During the workshop, details of the City Walk promenade project in Rustaq, South Batinah Governorate, were discussed.
The workshop included a methodical presentation for evaluating alternatives and discovering creative solutions aimed at improving performance and reducing costs, without compromising on quality. The importance of implementing the project using the best available methods to achieve the highest possible value and performance was also emphasized.
This workshop is considered part of the essential requirements for the interim guarantee gates included in the documentation process before the tender is issued, as part of the government's efforts to improve the quality and efficiency of national projects.
